Turkish Bath

The Turkish bath, with its focus on cleanliness and water, its steamy ambiance, cleanliness, and use of water, has managed to surpass alternatives such as Roman and Finnish baths, steam baths, and saunas. It has been carried to the present day with its best features. In Western Europe, it became popular as a method of cleansing and relaxation during the Victorian era, and the sauna culture was interpreted as a combination of ancient Greek and Roman practices.

By reflecting the melody of Turkish culture in every period, it has ensured the preservation of methods practiced for centuries. The Turkish bath traditionally begins in a relaxation room, where the person taking the hot air bath sweats. After a cold shower, bathers move to a hotter section where they are washed and massaged by the masseur and attendant.

After the cleaning is finished, those who come to the hammam sit in the cooling areas and relax for a while.

RAFTING

Rafting is a sport performed on fast-flowing rivers with boats called "rafts". The main thing in rafting is to navigate the boat through rocks and obstacles without capsizing, using paddles.

Rafting is done in teams of 6 to 8 people, and to be successful, you really need to be a "team". To finish the adventure without capsizing the raft, the whole team needs to paddle in harmony. Turkey has rivers suitable for rafting in every region. The Beşkonak Stream is especially well-known among them. It is possible to go rafting on these rivers in all four seasons.
